Digital Urology Journal now merged with TheScientificWorldJOURNAL

April 2004

Anthony Atala, M.D., Editor-in-Chief of the Digital Urology Journal (DUJ), and TheScientificWorld, the imprint of Infotrieve, are pleased to announce the merger of the DUJ with TheScientificWorldJOURNAL, a publication promoting advances in scientific and medical communication. The DUJ, a peer-reviewed international Journal of Adult and Pediatric Urology, was launched in 1996 and publishes a wide range of case studies and 'rounds,' original research, and review articles by the worldıs leading physicians and scientists. The DUJ also publishes a calendar of events and a Urological Information section designed to provide valuable information to patients and their families regarding urological diseases and conditions.

TheScientificWorldJOURNAL (TSWJ), now in Volume 4, is a 'Journal of many Journals,' stimulating multidisciplinary exchange within the life and environmental sciences through its unique editorial matrix of domains. The Digital Urology Journal will form the Urology publishing domain, served by the DUJ's distinguished Editorial Board and other prominent members of TSWJ Editorial Network. Papers previously published on the DUJ website will be republished within the Urology domain as a supplement of TSWJ (Volume 4). Papers currently in the pipeline and all forthcoming submissions will be published in the Urology Domain.

All authors will benefit from advanced the TSWJ's indexing by leading services, including PubMed/MedLine, and permanent archiving by the British Library's Legal Deposit for the benefit of future generations. Authors and readers will also benefit from TSWJ's policy of encouraging barrier-free, open access publication.

Authors wishing to submit an article for peer-review should refer to Author Guidelines and submit online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/TSWJ/. Authors can also contact Tara Retzlaff at tretzlaff@thescientificworld.com for further assistance.

A listing of the Editorial Board and a table of published articles is available on the Urology domain web site. The DUJ web site will continue to serve its user communities physicians, scientists, healthcare professionals, and patients through its information services and through its close cooperation with TSWJ.
