RECTO-URINARY COMMUNICATIONS IN THE BOY WITH HIGH IMPERFORATE ANUS

Rectovesical, Recto-Bladder Neck, Rectourethral Fistula

In the baby with rectourethral fistula (fig 3), there was also reflux into the utricle, and calcified intraluminal meconium (fig 4). When meconium and urine mix in the lumen of the colon of the fetus, the meconium sometimes calcifies. (r=rectum, b=bladder, u=utricle)
