An eight year-old black female presented to her pediatrician with complaints of frequency, urgency and dysuria. She denied any history of fever, chills, nausea or vomiting.

PMH/PSH: Significant for recurrent urinary tract infections with one episode of right pyelonephritis.

Medications: None

Physical Examination: Unremarkable.

Laboratory Values:

Urine culture: > 100,000 E. coli

Creatinine: 1.0 ml/dl

WBC: 8,500 mm3
